Hythe is a historic town on the south coast of England, in the county of Hampshire, providing a pleasant ferry connection to Southampton (5 miles to the west) and 30 miles from London to the east. It is located on the coast of Southampton Water, and offers easy access to the rest of the country via the A3, A27 and M27 motorways. Several local railway stations in Hythe, including Hythe West Station and Hythe Bridge Station.
The town has a rich history and heritage, dating back to over 1,000 years, and is known for its beautiful architecture, beaches and coastal walks. Today it has a thriving high street with many independent shops and markets, including an award-winning farmers' market every Saturday morning.
Hythe has a population of around 20,000 people and stretches for about 2 miles along its high street, which is home to various shops, markets and restaurants. Its beautiful beaches attract many tourists, with plenty of activities besides swimming or sunbathing during the summer.
